We understand how difficult it is to lose a loved one. Our compassionate and caring team work hard each and every day to make sure that the members of our community and beyond are taken care of during such a difficult time. For advice on what to do when a loved one is dying, making funeral arrangements, pre-arranging your own funeral, or anything else, please feel free to contact us, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Michael Fawcett is part of the third generation of Fawcett's to serve the community. Michael was born and raised in Collingwood. He graduated from Collingwood Collegiate Institute. Michael went on to graduate from the Funeral Service Education Program at Humber College receiving honors on his provincial board examinations in 1999 while also receiving the Mark MacAvoy Memorial Award as selected by his professors. Michael has been featured in The Canadian Funeral Director, The Canadian Funeral News and The American Funeral Director Magazines as well as appearances on One on One, Georgian Bay Living and Daytime television talk shows and CBC Radio.

Jim Henderson

Born and raised on the family farm in Stayner, Jim is somewhat of a hometown boy. The youngest of six children to Helen and the late Ian Henderson. After receiving a degree in music at Wilfred Laurier University, Jim returned home and started a career in food services. He returned to Humber College in 2002 and in 2004 received a diploma in Funeral Services and acquired his Funeral Director's License. While attending Humber College he received the S.C.I Funeral Services Award and the Great Lakes Funeral Services Award. Family is a great part of Jim's life, with four generations still living in the Georgian Bay area. Jim is the Managing Director of Fawcett Funeral Homes, Creemore Chapel.

Born and raised in Collingwood, I am proud to still call this wonderful community home, where I live with my husband, Kevin. After years working in Human Resources, life took a turn that led me back to Collingwood and to funeral services. 


Having grown up alongside Andrew, Michael, and the Fawcett family, joining the team felt less like starting a new chapter and more like coming home. The values of compassion, integrity, and community that define Fawcett Funeral Home are the same values that have shaped my life here in Collingwood.


I am actively involved in my church community and am a dedicated supporter of local Hospice initiatives. I believe deeply in giving back to the community that has given so much to me.



It is truly a privilege to walk alongside families during some of their most difficult moments, offering care, guidance, and support when it is needed most. Outside of work, I cherish time with family and friends and love to travel whenever I can.

Although not licensed funeral directors, these members of our staff are vitally important toward the operation of our firm. These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.

Andrew, along with his wife and daughters , are all born and raised in Collingwood. Andrew is also part of the third generation of Fawcett's to serve the community. Andrew has been employed in the funeral industry since 1984 working along side his father, the late Robert P. Fawcett. Andrew is a graduate of Collingwood Collegiate Institute.
